Coogee Beach Surf Life Saving Club
I went to my son's wedding reception last Saturday. It started promising: beautiful terrasse with a breathtaking ocean view and seemingly friendly stuff. Until my son and his gorgeous bride were to dance: no music sound, nothing. Big zero! My heart broke - It was supposed to be the day for the young couple to remember! Instead, some excuses and trying to fix the sound system with a microphone. Pathetic, indeed! I won't mention food. Everyone around me was hungry.I hope the next young couple and their parents will have a much better experience. But from me, one star. I would give zero, but unfortunately, this is not how Google ranking works.

Yep. Pristine venue. But that it is.Food you order will be replaced with food you didn't order, food is bland and the kind of standard that makes you ill. The sound system is atrocious. They won't improvise on mistakes they make, they just give you awful excuses.But run by a bunch of self interested people and staff members are also thieves. Had food go missing and belongings go missing when entrusted with staff to leave certain things overnight.Don't go here under any circumstances.

Enjoyed a deliscous breakfast here and a nice cappuccino out on the decking with a gentle breeze. A choice of seating, ramp for perms or wheelchairs. A cute toddler play area that is directly next to the outdoor seating area. Wide clear path to the beach for a short walk down to the ocean.

Attended a late arvo wedding here on the alfresco outdoor mezzanine facing the Indian Ocean.The event space was quite spacious, both indoor and outdoor, and I was pleasantly surprised the elevated area meant most of the ambient noise on the ground level are filtered away except for the occasional surf vehicle leaving the venue.As with other reviews, the in-house speakers were crackling occasionally and there was no imminent resolution.There is ample parking, and for bulky transportation, the parking towards the back of the club with ramp access is more convenient.
